305 TPI Problems
Hey guys I am having a few problems with my 91 z28 305tpi.
I keep having issues with the Fuel Pump going bad I have tried different brands of pumps as well changed the Sending Unit and checked the Ground but still having the issue I have replaced fuel pumps 6 times in 2 yrs so far and think my current pump that is only a couple months old is starting to have the same issue again.
As well after changing the pump this past time I decided to go with the Performance Pump with a higher PSI Output of 65psi so the pump would have to cycle les to keep the 35-43psi at the rail.
But since this pump change I am now getting a lot of noise from the Injectors when the car is at idle you can hear them pulse slightly but when accelerating the Pulsing Noise gets much louder and can be heard inside the car over the exhaust noise.
Could the injectors be going bad or the Fuel Regulator be allowing too much pressure in the rail?
I am unable to test the fuel pressure at the rail right now but will be installing a Pressure Gauge soon.
Any thoughts on these issues are greatly welcomed.

Re: 305 TPI Problems
If you have changed the pump 6 times, you are either incredibly unlucky with bad parts (not very likely to get a bad pump 5 times) or something else is causing the problem.
A couple of questions:
What is the problem that makes you replace the pump? Is it just noise from the injectors or is it a no-start-situation because the pump stops running?
Have you replaced the fuel filter?
Have you replaced the pump strainer/screen?
Have you checked the tank for contamination?
Have you checked the fuel tank ventilation?
