1988 Trans am with 305 TPI Help
I been working on my sons car while he is going to school (college). A few of the injector were bad. So from everything read got injectors from http://www.southbayfuelinjectors.com/
While in the working up did the coil/wire/cap and rotor. Temp and Oil sensor. new MAF. So after rebuilding it or putting it all back together it fired and ran realy good. turn it off and put the MAF back on the motor with all the plactic. The car would start and then stall.
So got new burn off and maf relay and ingintion module and have to still pull the disb to put on the new pickup coil. Still done think it is that but maybe.
Just that it is weird if you unplug the MAF and strat it. It runs realy good and can plug back in the maf and still runs just the same. But once you let it stay of for a bit and start it again it runs and then stalls. Then unplug it and works fine again. Also forgot we also is do the EGR valve to new. I know there are so many senors and relays and modules with the tpi. But i am wondering if anyone has had this happen to them,
NJ Trans Warlocky Please any ideas

I would stop throwing parts at it, that normally just wastes money.
Any codes?
I'm not too familiar with MAF cars but it is common for "new" maf sensors to be junk. Do a search and you'll be able to find loads of posts with the same problem.
