What's up guys I got a 91 trans am with a 350 tpi. I barely bought the car. I didn't know if the ac worked so I charged it and it worked perfect. But after I charged it I noticed my idle jumped up for some reason it idles close to 1200 rpms with the ac on or off. Before that it ran great and idled great. I checked the codes all I got was a code 33. Any ideas would be awesome Thanks.

You probably moved or busted a vacuum line. Otherwise....http://chevythunder.com/map_code_33.htm

Re: 350 TPI IDLING PROBLEMS
I didn't really touch anything when I charged it. It just all of a sudden went up in idle and never came back down. If I drive it slow it sputters and at a stop it wants to go by itself.

Ok fine. Look for vacuum leaks.

Re: 350 TPI IDLING PROBLEMS
That all sounds like a vacuum leak still. As brittle as those plastic vacuum get and the nature of the older ecm's, it normally is super random. Especially when you only charged ac.

Re: 350 TPI IDLING PROBLEMS
Yes I know. I will buy some carb spray and spray around the lines see if something pops out. If it was the tps I'm guessing I would get a code or something for that
