I am ready to pull the trigger on what I want to do with my 92 gta. A little background This is a very good car I have had it longer than three of my kids. I what to do it justice and not hack it up. I have always been a carb. guy(It's what I know). I am getting read to get a hsr. intake and fuel line kit. afr 195 heads. The cam I will need help with a little later. I was running a solid roller 245 duration with 565 lift on my carb. 355. I want a hydro roller for this car. I want to spin the motor no more than 6500 rpms. I already have BBK 52 mm throttle body from my old car. I also have a 3600 stall converter it is a 10 in. non lock up but it will have to do as a start. The thing is I have no clue about what is needed to tune the set up after I put it together. I want it to run mid to low 12 sec. that is what my car with a carb. 355 in a 89 firebird ran.(Had a lot left in it but had to sell before I finished). The question I have right now is can some one like me who has never done mods on a tpi. car will I be able to get it to run with my limited exp. with tpi. Sorry for the long post just a little worried that I will mess this car up.
