need help car won't start

well i recently picked up an 87 gta with a 5.7 tip engine. the car had been sitting about 10 years. So I went and did new plugs, cap, rotor, distributer, coil, ignition module, flushed gas, and replaced fuel pump, but still no start. I researched as much as i could on this site and now I'm stumped! I have great fuel pressure, strong spark, injectors are at 16.5 ohms, and verified injector harness works with noids. I must be missing something and am now getting frustrated. Any help would be appreciated

Re: need help car won't start

Injectors could be stuck shut. After cranking it a bit pull a spark plug or two and see if they have fuel on them (they should).

Is this with the pedal down while cranking? If so that is a clear flood mode. It dramatically reduces the injector PW. In which case I'd bet that the injectors are so dirty that they are flowing a lot more then they should, even possibly leaking.

well i was going to order the injectors but now I'm stumped! the car has a 350 installed (originally a 305) with a 5 speed trans shouldn't i have 22 lbs injectors? I checked the part number on the injectors and they're 19 lbs injectors

Make sure you have a 350 in there and what PROM is in the ecm. If it is a 350 then yes, you want a 22lb injector on a stock 350 PROM. If the PROM is not factory 350 then the flow rate could have been adjusted.
