Super high idle after unplugging tps

Super high idle after unplugging tps

I unplugged my tps while changing my thermostat this morning, after i got everything all hooked back up i went to go start the car and it idled super high. Any ideason what could have caused this problem. Car is a 91 Z28 tpi 5.0 thanks guys.

U have to reset the tps sensor reset it til it reads at .5v reference at idle with throttle closed

reset the minimum idle air first AND THEN re set the TPS
