ACCEL TPI Base on stock engine.
Hi, a guy is selling me a TPI intake which includes a base made by ACCEl, I´ve read several post and i get the idea it is better than the stock base, maybe this has been asked before but i could not find it:
How much is an intake like that worth? I mean, what is a fair price? and is it worth for me to buy it to install on a L03 Long Block? Do I need bigger runners to be able to run this intake?

Its always best to buy cheap and sell high if you can. Yes, that base is worth having.
Works with stock runners but bigger are better.

My accel base would not match up with some bolt holes to the stock tpi runners. It did bolt to some but its better to use, edelbrock, slp, supper ram.

The gaskets sometimes aren't cut correctly and cause issues. I have had that happen.
