How to attach MAP sensor to HSR intake?
Hi Guys,
Just wondering if there's a trick or missing part needed to install the MAP sensor into the HSR upper plenum?
I have a MAP sensor off an LS1 to go with the 0411PCM, and it has the orange rubber barb seal on it, but there's no way I can press it into the 1/8-27NPT threaded hole in the HSR.
How does everyone else install theirs?
I thought I can probably cut the orange seal off, and use RTV sealant or something to hold it in place and seal, but will that be good enough, or is there a better way?
The other option I thought of it to have the MAP sensor mounted and pipe it to the intake, but would that cause issues with pressure delay or something having it remotely located?
