My maf was messed up, so I unplugged it, and left it unplugged. I didn't have a problem before, but now with my new maf, it will die when ever I put it into gear.

 

if you are one of the unfortunate ones, that bought a re man cardone or spectra . thats all they do .junk in a box . you can buy a NEW one . and .really . thats our only choice

 

I bought a new walker maf from jegs.

 

TCC switch stuck on? its like leaving the clutch engaged and just shifting from natural in to first. It will stall the engine.
Quick test is to jack up the rear and get the tires off the ground and start the car and shift in to drive.

 

I ended up unplugging the maf and I could put it into gear. Also the car had the maf plugged in and it got to operating temperature, it ran fine.

 

did you ever get your car to run correctly ?

 

If the maf was unplugged It ran and I could put it into gear, but if it was plugged in it would run, but just would die once it went into gear.
