Help me get my car into the 12's N/A
Help me get my car into the 12's N/A
I'm looking to run 12's naturally aspirated (now that I did it with the spray)
I'm looking for PROVEN combo's
I would like to keep my 2.77's. (for now)
Besides that, anything goes... just try to keep the $ down.
I'm thinking about the following:
1. superram, afr 190, lpe 219
2. superram, afr 190, 224 230 @ .50 around .510 lift
3. superram, TFS 23, LT4 hot cam
4. miniram, TFS 23, LT4 hot cam
Then for suspension, Im gonna get some spohn SFC's and box my LCA's with poly bushings.
Is there any benefit to boxing the stock torque arm?
I'd PREFER to go superram, just to keep my streetability and not have to rev my motor to 6500 to make its power. Also, try to keep it street friendly.. this IS my daily driver.
Anyone have any ideas?
All my mods are in my signature.

I would have to agree with the rest of the guys.. but go with the Spohn LCA's instead of boxing the factory ones. The chrome moly ones are lighter and stronger, and not that expensive. Also go with a nice set of bilsteins for the rear.. this should give you a decent launch. The torque arm shouldn't matter.
What does everyone think about the following..
Trick Flow 23 comp cams 224 230 @50 around .510 lift 112 lobe sep cam and complete superram intake
It SOUNDS good to me, but I can't find any quick cars running the TFS 23's

The one Kream said would be a good one. Since your not displacing at least 383 inches, I'd use the superram.
That's a nice little cam too. Mine was at 114 degree seperation though.
I believe in trickflows... Seen plenty of cars go into the 11's with them. If I had to buy anymore it'd be trickflow.
happy building!
