help wont start

87 formula 350 tpi ,,,,was driving hit a bump,,,car died ,,,like just quit running,,,towed home,,,,checked fuel pressure at the rail 48 lbs,,when ya turn the key on,,,,checked fire,,,bridges a big gap on my tester,,,just in case did change out the module in the distributer,,,no luck ran the codes i get first 12 ,,,15, ,22,,34,,42
15 is low temp at coolant temp switch,,22 low voltage at tps,,,or fuel cuttoff relay circuit open or shorted to ground,,34 low voltage (high vacumn) at mass airflow sensor or map sensor,,42 fault at electronic spark timing or fault at direct ignition system,,or faultat fuel cut off relay circuit,,and y help would be greta and where is the fuel cutoff relay when i crank it the fuel pres is at 48 while cranking it goes to 42,,then after bout 20 secs is starts ta go down,,but it never starts

any help would be great

Hmmm... thats a tough one... when you mention fuel cutoff, I was thinking maybe the Vehicle Security System? But... the fuel is obviosly working, and you said you have spark... have you tried taking a plug out and testing for spark that way? Check it that way if not... Also, unplug the TPS and see if the car will start. Check the plug at the MAF?

This is odd, because the car is not starting at all.. and thats quite the list of codes. i am curious to see what other suggestions are posted as well as finding out whats the problem... so keep us posted if you find the culprit

3 relays at the right rear of engine bay, behind / above the master cylinder - one is the fuel pump, The other two (according to the Haynes Maual) are MAF Sensor power and Burn Off for '87.

On my Astro Van I had a wiring harnes that came loose - bump shook something that was not plugged in good?

Good luck on finding the culprit.

when i hit the bump my wire connecter came out of the ecm,,,,,plugged back in runs great thanks for the info and help
