TPI with Vortec Heads
Sorry if there is a tread out there already, I can't find one if there is. I'm curious about getting my spare tpi setup machined to fit 350 vortec heads. Is this possible? If someone has done this please point me in the right direction.

TONS of threads...just look harder!!!! LOL Welcome to Thirdgen.Org
YES...you can have it done, but even when the bolt holes are made to fit, the ports don't properly line up. Possible, yes, but it's not generally considered to be an option.
You can purchase a SDPC vortec TPI base that solves these problems. They're no longer made, but they do come up for sale here and on ebay or CL a good bit. They just went out of production recently. They don't flow all that much better than a stock TPI though, so they're great for stock or mild vortec engines, but to really get performance out of it takes a lot of work. Better option in an entirely different intake set up.
...this was a recent add, not clear on whether the vortec base actually sold or not, but you can look into it..

Re: TPI with Vortec Heads
I bought a Scoggin Dickey Vortec base plate back in November. So they may still have some on the shelf I would give them a call. That is the only piece you need to make the Vortec heads work on the TPI. Mine runs very strong. I would try to find a base plate before you go trying to do machine work.

Re: TPI with Vortec Heads
do a google or eBay search for "vortec tpi" and you'll find your base plate.
