Some of the 3800 series 1 engines (around 89 - 91) were actually called TPIs and they have some wording on the plastic injector covers to that effect........ They came in most of the Olds and Buick FWD sedans. But the intake really doesn't look like the TPIs on the LB9s and L98s..... It is a Long Tube Runner setup though.... I would have to categorize the 3.8LTurbo (GN, GNX, T-type, TTA) engine's intake as a non-LTR design since the intake runners really aren't very long. The design is very close to a Miniram/LT1 style..... There's really no sense in having long-a$$ed runners on those engines since they make some crazy torque (when spooled up properly of course).
Matt is right. If you want to convert your V6 to TPI, you should check out the 3800's, but I personally can't tell you for a fact if it will fit. If it doesn't, you might have to look into something else.

Yeah, I doubt that the 3800 TPI stuff will work on a 2.8/3.1/3.4 style V6 without some serious fabbing - if at all. The 2.8/3.1/3.4 are kind of a different design since they are a 60* V6 and have a very unique intake manifold setup.
