Need MAF sensor advice
I'm have durability issues and after a 13 mile highway I finally got a code 34 to come up. After going through the manufacture trouble tree I basically came up with the fact that I need to replace my maf. Well drove thecar home from work, got three blocks and then it started to lose power. Pulled into a parking lot and disconnected the sensor, I was able to get home and it solved the drivability issue somewhat. Not perfect but it got me home. So with all this trouble shooting pointing me towards a new maf. Is there anything else I can do to diagnose further before I shell out the money for a new sensor?

Check all vacuum lines, including the little one underneath the throttle body, and check the throttle shaft for excessive play and leaks. Also check the air boot on the MAF. Have you replaced/checked the MAF relays? https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tech...-mass-air.html https://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/a...aff-relays.jpg
