iac will not clear baseplate?

Transmission: 700-R4
Axle/Gears: 3.08 open diff
iac will not clear baseplate?
ok back story i have a 96 chevy w/t 1500 i am building a 305 for
engine
305 roller block
350 vortec heads
scoggin dickies vortec base plate
stock runners
stock plenum
bbk/edelbrock throttle body
issue i am havig as i decided to put the intake together as a dry run to make sure it would clear and well the iac housing seems to be hitting the base plate?
any idea why or a way to fix this?

Looks like you need a tpi lower iac housing. Your using a lt1 style iac housing.

Tpis makes one or a used tb in the wtb classified section or eBay.

did not even notice the lt1 ans tpi differences makes sense as this came off of a lt1
