Fuel pump problems?

My vehicle keeps randomly dying and has troubles turning on. I automatically thought fuel pump. So I replaced fuel pump and filter along with the sending unit. It still had the same problem so I replaced the fuel pressure regulator and still the same thing. I figured maybe the fuel pump was a faulty one so I replaced it again and still same problem.

Re: Fuel pump problems?

First thoughts would be icm or injectors. You might want to ohm the injectors. Does it fire right back up a intermittent issue or does it struggle to fire back up ?

Not sure if you have tpi or tbi, but you should check for spark and injector pulse or spray if it’s tbi when it occurs. A intermittent issue can be a bear to find.

Re: Fuel pump problems?

I replaced the Icm so far it's doing good still lack of power but I'm facing the hard truth that the engine is getting a little blow by action. I'm probably just going to run thick oil Haha. But thanks, I didnt of ignition because it didnt feel like it but I guess it was.
