Pre-Build Planning

Well, the 91 started to spit up smoke so it's time to get it ready for a rebuild.

Looking at the following:

Dart SHP Alum 180cc 64cc/75cc 2.02/1.6 - $1,212 for the pair
Comp EFI - 220/230 w/ 114lsa - Includes timing chain/gears and lifters - $585
Summit Steel Roller Tip Rockers 1.6 - $120 per 16
Federal Mogul Rebuild kit - $225
Valve Covers - $65
Comp Pushrods - $108
30lb Injectors - $320

$2670ish total

Using ported/polish TPI while I decide on FIRST, HSR, and/or just doing runners/base. Curious as to what people's experiences have been and/or suggestions. This is my first USDM build from scratch, any help would be handy! This would be using my original TPI block.

Thanks!

Don't forget to factor in machine work on the block. It's been a while since I had one done but i'd bet machine work will run you around 3-400 dollars. Should be a stout build when complete

That's about what I was figuring. Really debating on throwing in some forged internals as well, my 67 LeMans has taken the bulk of the attention lately though.

Spent the vast majority of this morning plotting out engine builds.
