Fuel pressure question with Holley AFPR?

Installed the Holley afpr the other day and finally got everything back together and noticed with the reg adjusted as far as it goes clockwise the most I can get for pressure with regulator vacuum disconnected is about 48psi? Ironically that’s about what I was aiming for but I thought it could go well over 50 if so desired. With the factory fuel pressure regulator I had between 43-44psi which I did for a baseline with vacuum disconnected. The car runs good but I’m just wondering if my pump is on it’s way out with it only pushing 48psi? I also noticed when you hit the throttle with the gauge hooked up the tester doesn’t seem to move? Was wondering if the tester just might be junk, it’s a BE Tool brand and seemed like a decent unit.

Re: Fuel pressure question with Holley AFPR?

Looks like the test gauge had a messed up attachment which I removed and now it works again, properly adjusted pressure to 47 psi.
