how do you port a plenum?

subject says it all. i don't really have that much experience working on my z28, but a lot of people talk about porting the plenum; sounds like it's not that hard to do since a lot of people are doing it.

I'll know for sure this weekend when I start mine. But from just looking at the plenum while its sitting in my hands, it really doesn't look to be difficult at all. The hardest part is cleaning out all the black carbon and oily stuff inside of it.

Real easy. I used a Dremel, and an aluminum cutting bit. Biggest thing is to remove the 'walls' in front of the EGR passage. You could also match the plenum to the runners, but I found mine to be about the same, anyway. Took about an hour or so.
good luck,
Jeff
