i know that u have seen this post a million times but I'm a 17 year old and im new to this kinda stuff. well i have an 88 Iroc Z with a 305 TPI. Well i was wondering if i can just put a K&N cone air filter at the end of the MAF sensor. i either want to do that or just put two filters under the black air lid and just gut my airbox. what do u guys suggest i do. well thanx for reading my post.

Andris Skulte has devised a way to get a pretty damn good cold air intake out of the stock air box. Go to his webiste at http://www.skulte.com for instructions. Every aftermarket cold air intake that I've seen for Camaro's with the Y-style airbox has not been that great. They usually require you to move your battery or otherwise annoyingly mod your engine bay. Build your own, it'll save $200 and you can say it was a custom job
