lt1 intake swap
The only problem with the Vette intakes is that the fuel rails point towards the passenger side. Since you have to fabricate new fuel lines anyhow this isn't a big deal, but you have to run longer lines and that increases cost and pain in the *** factor.
1992/93 rails can be used and the intake itself is a little nice and the castings are higher quality, but they require more work to make fit.
So basically, the easiest, cheapest way to procees are 1994+ Caprices, Fleetwoods, Roadmonsters, and F-bodies.

Some extra periods, since you seem to be missing that key on your keyboard.

OK. Pay attention, theres gonna be a quiz later.
F/B body fuel rails exit pointing towards the driver side of the car.
Y body (Corvette) rails exit pointing to the PASSENGER side of the car.
Since the fuel lines on a TPI F-body come up on the drivers side of the car, it easier to have fuel rails that exit, pointing that way.
Get it?
Got it?
GOOD.

ok ok i got it. but i should have said i am working with a l98 corvette and my fuel lines are comeing up the front on the slight pass side.so could i use the vette manifold or not . i mean is there any thing going to be in the way for the mods. where exactly does the adj fuel pressure reg go. i am sorry for my lack of knowledge on this subject i have seen hundruds of lt1 vettes and count less f bodys but never gave it a thought how this will all go together. i am planning on doing the swap i just dont want to do it two or three times just once thanks

Thats why I was talking TPI F-body.
OK, then you'll prefer having Vette fuel rails too. The AFPR still fits on the drivers side rail tho.
