Anybody use SLP's TPI cams?

So I'm looking for a camshaft to upt in this summer... and lo and behold I look through my SLP catalogue and they have a few cams for a 305 TPI, slightly modified (which I'm sure headers/exhaust fall under; I'm also looking at the posibility of a chip along with the heads and cam). The cam specs are here. The heads I've picked out (World Products S/R 305 Torquers) can handle a maximum lift of .560", IIRC. I know SLP makes good stuff and they can help me out if I call; says this cam doesn't need any special springs, lifters, etc. (which the World heads come with better than stock parts anyways, according to their site information). Do you think this cam, and those heads would be a good combination? Thanks for any help.

I can't comment on the performance potential of those cams but I can tell you that they are made by Comp Cams and that they can be bought for considerably less than SLP sells them form. I believe you also need to be conservative with the valve lift on a 305. I know a few people have had success with the 218/224 cam in 350's. Give CompCams a call and ask them. SLP probably won't be able to help you much
