Need Injector size info.

I'm building a Super Rammed 385 and am trying to figure out what size injectors I need. I'm expecting somewhere between 450-480 hp. I'm guessing I'll need either 26 or 28 lb/hr injectors. Does anyone have a chart or anything that matches up injector flow rates to hp at given fuel pressures, or even just any info. to help me. Thanks.

Ib/hr (fuel) = (Max. HP x BSFC) / ( number of injectors)

where: • Max. HP is a realistic horsepower estimate or
known value from dyno testing;
• BSFC is Brake Specific Fuel Consumption.
Typically, BSFC for a normally aspirated
(unblown) engine will be 0.45. For a
turbocharged or super charged application,
use BSFC = 0.55. Dyno testing can provide
exact BSFC data.

• Number of injectors should be one per cylinder,
if possible. For high horsepower applications,
two injectors per cylinder is also acceptable.

Example: 385 cid Chevrolet 8 cylinder
480HP
TPI multiport Injection
480 x 0.45 = 27 lb/hr fu
8

You would need to use a 30 Ib/hr injectors
Hope this helps This Info comes from Accel It is how they sujest how to buy the correct injector for your car.

Glad I could help. You may want to use the formula for the terbo set up and then just tune the chip for the extra injector size that whay you will have room for expantion later.
