depens on what year the intake is for and the year of your car. but for the most part the base manifolds are the same regardless of 305 or 350. the earlier ones had the cold start injector.

Get it now! The base retails for $459 and the runners for $398 and LPE charges $200 just to port the plenum.

Dont buy those from him, they will make your car slower. But they'll make mine faster so if would just give me his number and forget about those parts you would be better off.

Seriously it will make your car slower, but buy it anyway. Let it sit in your garage until you get a 350, or sell it on ebay for $600+.

P.S. Very fishy to sell such a thing for so cheap, make sure the runners are very very big and FAT, and the plenum is also very very big and fat. Even if just the runners are fat and the plenum looks like stock.. that would still be a good deal.

how would that in any way make my car slower i already picked up the parts and the runners are very fat and the plenum is no where near stock. It will allow my motor to breath easier it will not make it slower.and i dont want to hear that 350 garbage i want a 305 so that when i beat the 350s i can laugh.

can you say unbalanced? those intake parts will kill your low end tourque. that is a good price but it will make your car slower unless you do some major work. believe it or not. thats the same as saying that bolting on a 58mm throttle body onto a stock 305 will yield a performance gain. impossible

Now, I'm not saying that it will slow your car down, but I understand why some think it MIGHT. Unless your current runners and plenum are currently the biggest restriction, putting bigger ones on will only slow down the air velocity. Unless you've put in a bigger cam, ported cylinder heads, and headers, simply putting on a better flowing intake isn't going to help you.

Why is your goal to beat 350s with a 305?

Will your goal next be to beat a 350 with a 4cyl? Displacement is not a bad thing....

Just curious as to why you think this way?

When I bolted a SuperRam on my mostly stock 350 I was VERY DISAPOINTED. After I ported the heads and put a cam in, the car was much faster, after I put the Cut-out on it will be even faster. What I'm trying to say is I put the SuperRam on a 357, and I wasen't happy...If you put it on a stock 305 (assuming your car is stock) I am positive you'll eather rip it off the next day or buy thousands in performance parts to balance out your engine.
If you don't believe us listen to the guy who invented it who says "Not recommended for unmodified 305 cid engines"

It will make your car slower, I speak from experience. That thing is "displacement sensitive" as accel/lingenfelter says. The stock tpi worked much better on my 305.

I think you should be alright considering that you do plan to do up the rest of the motor. Sure, on a stock 305, you would be wasting your money thinking that a ported plenum and aftermarket runners would yield gains.

I bought the Accel LTRs and Edlebrock base, BUT I didn't put it on until AFTER I did my cam and head swap (might as well considering the intake had to come off). The runners and base were sitting in my room for a year just staring at me, and I have a 350.

When I put it on my engine I had already gotten an expensive set of ported heads, full exhaust, a cam, and various other performance parts. It did not increase power over stock, in fact the car was slower with the super ram. If I were you I'd sell it on ebay for $600 bucks and use the profit to buy a 350 short block.
