South Bay Injectors...

Do not get anywhere close to inserting as far as factory. Any ideas why or is this normal? This is with factory tpi intake.

Re: South Bay Injectors...

Their customer service is very good, did you insert them into the intake first and then the fuel rail? That’s a very common install issue with the Bosch 3.

No they've been in there for quite a while I just haven't gotten around to firing up the engine yet LOL
I mean the o-rings are completely sunk into the passages they just don't sit quite as low as the old ones did... I'll find out in about a month when I fire that baby finally been doing a complete restoration of this sucker

Re: South Bay Injectors...

I'll probably get a lot more done if I was home more than once every 3 months but I've been restoring for 5 years so it's no rush

Noble1, I have Bosch III's from Southbay. The O-rings they send are specifically for the Bosch III with the adapter. I have used them for several years without leaks. They even sent me an extra set of O-rings when I had to remove my fuel rail for some work. The O-rings, mine are actually square rings, may sit in a different position than the original O-rings. That is a good thing because the metal of the intake where the old O-rings sat may have pitting or wear due to age and corrosion. So, moving the O-rings to a clean undisturbed area is good.

Good Luck,

Fred
