My rocker covers are showing their age....

Before I put them back onto the 383 I'm building, I'm probably going to refinish them. But I'm wondering about a red color rather than the current black. Trying to also keep the 383 build cost down, which is why I'm not going to buy new ones.

It wouldn't be a bright in-your-face red though... probably something a little darker and more muted, but enough to give the engine a little pizazz when I pop the hood...

Curious if anyone is running red rocker covers on their TPI.... I have a Miniram, but figure it'd be close enough to get an idea.

Did mine red along with the intake manifold and water pump last year when I did some major work.
