Startup problems - another go at this
Hi
this is my ever lasting problem. My car cranks för a long time when hot. But this year I’ve discover that it will start fine if you hold full throttle for two seconds and then letting thw throttle go. The temp sensor is fine and I’ve verified it by a computer. So far I’ve replaced:
injectors
ignition coil
Ignition module
starter
pich up coil
ignition cables
spark plugs
cap and rotor
battery
Also looked for fuel in the hose to the fuel pressure regulator. It’s dry
It sounds and smell that it gets too much fuel but I’ve tried to remove fuel by reprogramming the chip with no luck.
Is it possible that it gets too little fuel?
Any other ideas?

Holding your foot down sounds like to little fuel. The injectors are turned off in clear flood mode. Wich table did you pull fuel from ? Still $32B ?

You might try reducing lower numbers in crank fuel multiplier vs reference pulses

Take out from zero to 8. 8 would be one engine revolution.

After some further discussins and great support it seems to be the best idea to go back to an unaltered version of APYM. The most likely cause of this is mechanical problems. The major argument is that the car had this problem
when I bought it and I’ve tried different prom versions with the same result. The first owner have told me that this was not a problem in the beginning

did you check fuel pressure ?
also : does the key on pump prime (Fuel pump Relais circuit ) work ?
Because if not, only thing that kicks on your pump is the Oilpressure switch and that thing on a worn engine takes a longer time if oil is hot and thin to build up oil pressure by only cranking
