I have a stock L98 with the TPI and noticed the power seem to level off at around 4500 RPMs or so. I'm getting ready to rip off my heads to replace the guides and seals. While i have it all apart, what would be some good mods to do? any in-put would be great. I also plan on getting a cat and cat-back system and possibly headers.

 

For a 350......mod a Lt1 intake....for a 305 port the TPI.

Or well that is what I would do eventually
Now Port match the TPI to all it parts and the heads.....Just for a real basic thing ot do would be to ust smooth and clean the ports and runners.

 

how hard would it be to mod to an LT1 intake? i've read the tech article. how much can i pick one up for? would it help to buy siamese runners? i'm already have to have a valve job done on the heads (the infimus start-up smoke), a cat (possibly a dual-cat y-pipe), and the cat back system (possibly headers). on top of that, i need new tires all the way around. if anybody have any of this stuff for sale, i may be a potential buyer. thanks.
