Drip Drip Drip

I've been steadily losing oil pressure the last couple of days. I'm about due for an oil change but I shouldn't be losing pressure. I crawled under the car an noticed a very small leak coming from somewhere ABOVE the oil filter's location. Anyone have a clue as to were this leak is coming from or what else could be the cause of my lack of oil pressure? The engine is a 350 TPI...

The engine does have over 140,000 miles on it. And the gaskets could use changing over the summer as they are old. Which could be leaking as well. Any help would be great...

Do you have the sandwich style oil cooler on there? (it should be really obvious if you do, there are coolant lines running to it...) If so, you may have an O-ring leaking. Very simple fix.

Also, I have noticed on my engine, (350, 150K miles) that as my oil ages, and it gets closer to oil change time, oil pressure goes down over time. Change the oil, and the pressure is right back up.

have fun
