The white foam gaskets on my MAF are shot so it's not getting a good seal. What are most of you using as a replacement? Maybe just a big rubber o-ring?

 

Foam gaskets? My MAF has a rubber adapter ring at the air box and another at the outlet duct to the throttle body. Do yo have a photo?

 

I've already tossed them because they were flattened and torn. They were made of the same material that's in the air filter lid. I don't think it's rubber because it's really soft. I think it's only for the 85-87 Firebirds.
