Quick question... Since I am not using the HVAC port on the rear of the intake, can I move the fuel pressure regulator hose to this port and cap the one currently used for the fuel pressure regulator? I will have to switch the fittings around due to different hose size, of course.
Thanks!
Mike

I mean, manifold vacuum is manifold vacuum. It's all the same unless it's ported vacuum and that would be at the throttle body. I'm not sure why you'd want to use a different port for the pressure regulator, unless there's something I'm missing in your question.

I guess I should have added more information. First of all, I wasn't sure if there was anything internal that would cause an issue with switching it around. I am working out some issues with the engine bogging intermittently, and there aren't any error codes. I bought a fuel pressure gauge and a 90° fitting that I installed so I can watch for possible pressure variation, but I could not hook up the vacuum line as there is not enough clearance for the nipple to be installed once I installed the gauge. It would be so easy to just move the nipple over to the HVAC position. I searched for quite a while to see if I could answer my own question as I don't recall the internals of the manifold.Originally Posted by aliceempire

The gauge will be a temporary thing and will be removed once I can verify I don't have pressure fluctuation. If necessary, I can move the vacuum line back to the stock location.

It's all the same vaccum signal. You're good to do your plan
