Re: Bosch MAF Part#?

there are a few different maf number part numbers over the years. 85 was a one year only digital. Nos bosch is nla, I did see one on eBay in Germany but it’s way to expensive. 86-88 I think has a p/n and 89 has another p/n either will work used. A lot of people are having good luck with Delphi from rock auto.

I ordered the delphi AF10320 from rockauto, car ran good but after a day or two it caused the check engine light to come on. Thought maybe it was just a bad MAF, had rockauto send another new delphi, same exact thing. No check engine light on with the cardone reman MAF. Just my experience

Re: Bosch MAF Part#?

If you can find a Cardone 744712, it is a reman Bosch unit. I bought one from Rock Auto about 6 months ago, but it looks like they no longer carry it today and no other reman or new hotwire style available. A quick Google search seems to show a handful of them still available. Might get lucky.

I’m not sure I didn’t put a scanner to it either time. But in between both delphi’s I went back to the reman cardone (bosch) and no SES light. Would codes tell me exactly what the issue was with the MAF like voltage or airflow, ect? I thought code 36 just tells you “MAF issue”

Re: Bosch MAF Part#?

Understood, thank you for the info. I would assume it would be code 36 for burnoff relay since the Delphi had the circuit board style inside of the maf no? But then again we all know the saying about assuming
I also replaced the maf burnoff and power relays on the passenger side firewall after install of the delphi just incase it could be that and no change
