Seems I might have posted when the boards were a little strange.

Does anyone know where the left injector came out of.

I'm pretty sure it's a 305 injector. Part number FJ8 or 25531467

Multec Injector while the right is Pintle correct?

Does anyone have any idea what the left injector came out of or if it really is a 305 injector.

The left injector looks like what I just put back into my '87 IROC with a 350. I believe that is a Rochestor or Lucas injector.

Actually, it's SMP or something like that.

I cross refrenced it on the internet last night.

I just wanted to know for sure if it was a 305 or not.

However, you said 87? I thought GM didn't start using Multec injectors until '89???

Hmmm, all I can say is that mine are Lucas brand with a 350 TPI and the one on the left looks identical to the one I just hauled out a couple weeks ago.

Actually, FJ8 part # corresponds to a Standard Ignition fuel injector. I work part time at an auto parts store that deals primarily with Standard. They seem to have good quality components, especially if you use anything labeled "Blue Streak"

Not sure who manufacturers there injectors though.

Here is where the refrenece to SMP came from:

Notice the very first line.

I work at Advanced Auto... I guess I'll try looking through all the 305 camaros and trying to cross refrence it or their system. This one is getting tough to find.

That's cool. I just had heard GM didn't use Multec Injectors until '89. But if you used it in '87 model, maybe not. I've heard the Multecs are a better design in terms of not getting clogged.
