EGR questions - - - - ->
Is there a way to eliminate the EGR system and charcoal canister from a MAF TPI?
My AIR pump is already gone and I have no emissions testing here.
Anyone know?
Thanks.

Removing this stuff will not throw codes...BUT One facet of it will if I remember correctly...The EGR solenoid....You can remove the EGR valve But you need to plug the valve vacuum line at the solenoid and keep the solenoid on the car and plugged in...Actually the easiest way to do it is to Pull the tube out of the rubber elbow at the solenoid and just break off a golf tee in there or push a cap headed screw in there....As long as the solenoid stays plugged in and the line is blocked that fools the computer into thinking the valve is there and keeps it from causing a vacuum leak....Thus NO CODES...All of my emmisions stuff has been gone for 4 years now and no codes...My solenoid is still there with a cap screw plugged into it ...No one would ever notice the screw is out of place unless I pointed it out.. ;-)
