what do you need to burn your own chips?

what is this prom burning or whatever the hell it is, and what do i need to do it?

not sure what you need for rom burning though I am curious myself on this one


though you can also can a look at
www.haltech.com

they sell a stand alone computer that will let you tune any and everything on the car

very very good system

if you guys want give me an email addy or your aim name and I can give you the demo on what this thing looksl ike and what you can conrtrol

Yes, read Traxion's introductory article on "Prom Burning". It briefly describes what you need, various alternatives, and where to get them.

The actual "prom burning" is quite easy and if you were to talk to someone on the phone for about 1/2 hour, they could completely explain everything you need.

The "difficult" part is the "tuning". In reality when we say "prom burning", what we REALLY mean is EFI TUNING. If you are comfortable with tuning a carb/reg. dist., the EFI Tuning is really very similar - you just do it through a different method and have WAY MORE that you can control.
