hello i have a 1990 350 iroc, and on the underhood sticker it says V81LE what does this mean? I heard that that option dosent come with airconditioning, but my car does.

 

I don't know what happened in 90. My car has the 1le gass tank and it came with a tranny that upshifted into OD at full throttle. yet it has AC and the little front brakes and has the big rear disks and it has the steel drive shaft. however it handles better than any iroc or third gen for that mater than i have ever been in. It pulls .97 lateral G's acording to g-tech. It also rides so stiff it is not even funny. Much stifer than my RS rode. The suspension is stock too. I don't know what happened in 90 but it is clear that they did some things special. Does your car have single or double piston front calipers? I would like to know if other cars in 90 got similar equipment.

 

yeah man, im not sure what all they did to our cars, but they handle like crazzy, i mean i get hardly any sway or roll around sharp turns doing 60+ miles an hour

 

oh yea i forgot to mention that when i replaced the servo i found that it had the corvette servo in the car. I know that it was original too as the cover had never been off the car and we had to break it to get it off. so i am pretty sure that my car has a transmission that was intended for a vette. i would like to know if you got the 1le brake package? let me know what you find out.

 

im not sure about my breaks.. i never really looked, and i wouldnt know anyways, i just got the car last summer. although i did just have my breaks replaced before i put it away for the winter i know nothing about them.
