is it worth the swap

is it worth it to swap over from a 305 tpi to a 350 tpi? i know the 350's faster stock, but overall, is it worth the switch?

i'm in desperate need right now b/c i'm faced w/ a possible 350 for a decent price, i just need to know if it's worth it...

Car: 1989 IROC--1989 T/A

Engine: 5.7 TPI in both

Transmission: W/C T-5 in both

Axle/Gears: B/W 3.27 in both

are you asking if a 350 long block is better or, if a 350 tpi is beter than a 305 tpi (manifold)? I would say depends on milage of an status of your 5.0. Well my opinion is to upgrade

Very important to post where the 350 is coming from. Could be a smog hog, and be slower than yours...... good luck

it's coming out of a 89 Formula 350......it's a complete motor.....and yeah, i mean the complete 350 tpi engine, vs. the complete 305 tpi......but i think u could be right telling me to upgrade....there is a better aftermarket for 350's
