Can I get rid of this?

I'm removing everthing I don't need while I'm swapping to the LT1 intake. What is this in the pic below? It's located near the firewall by the coil. One vac port was connected to EGR, the other teed over by the evap. cannister, and it has an electrical connection in back. I'm thinking it's the EGR control. If so, I won't have one and should be able to get rid of it. I've already disabled it in the prom a long time ago anyway.

Yup you won't need that. You can get rid of it.

Noticed your set up is close to mine less the cam and runners (and head work). Did you completely modify your chip or just some of the paramaters? I've been looking for a good ZZ4 TPI bin to burn to an extra chip. I also have the 1 5/8 headers, cold air and a 3:23 rear (close to your 3:27).
Thanks

Rob, I've modified many parameters in the chip. If you have a MAF car, you should run the 6E calibration and start with the ARAP bin, which is available on the gmecm site bin library. When you say you need a bin to burn to an extra chip, I'm assuming you have the equipment.

No, I don't have the equipment currently, but a good friend does. My car is a MAP set up.
