I've converted mine.

I haven't had any problems with it.

Pay particular attention to the part about whether you should use a ball or disc under the bolt, and what to do in either case.

Frobozz, scotty d, jmon92conv, 89GTA5spd, rsilver, I ROCK, Ed Maher, spearson, james_fearn, and probably a few others have done the conversion. On more than one occassion, I've had questions and to stress the need to measure very carefully for those who have decided to use the ball in place of the steel disc. Maybe I should have started the article with a huge warning about the ball, so no one can say they missed it.
