Serentine Brackets/Braces Help

I hope someone can help me out. I have installed a 88 L98 TPI engine into my Monte Carlo and I am missing a few of the braces for the serpentine system. Can someone take a picture of the alternator brace that comes off the back of the alternator. My dealer says it is no longer available and I have never seen a TPI car in my local j-yards. I think the A/C compressor is also supposed to have a brace but I don't know for sure. If I can get pictures I could possibly make a bracket myself.

Thanks,
Dan

check out this website: www.metzcon.com/fbodymanual/ you have to do some searching but you will find pictures and the brackets that you are talking about. I found the all new brackets and support bars that you are talking about and the part numbers off of this website and ordered them through GM Parts direct www.gmpartsdirect.com.

Thanks. Checked out the page, and as I feared GM parts direct says the part is not available. At least I see what they look like so I can possibly make them myself.

Didn't the TBI cars use the same setup?
That might give you another option at the bone yard.

I found out the hard way that TBI serpentine and TPI serpentine braces are different. I bought a set from a fellow thirdgenner, but he failed to mention they were from a TBI setup. The only brace that would work was the Power Steering pump brace.

The alternator, AC and smog pump braces are a lot different. I found everything in stock from the dealer just last week except for the smog pump brace.

Part numbers are (I used an 88 for my conversion):

Brace, Alt 10077518 $5.20 also needs a m8x1.25x45 bolt.
Brace, AC 10105292 $14.70 also needs a special stud (not available of course) to attach, but 3/8 threaded rod works just fine.

The smog pump brace is not available.

Hey man get me the exact part# and I will get dimensions for you . I have my brand new brackets right here in front of me.

Nevermind my stuff is for a 1990.

Appreciate all the replies. From the exploded views referenced in the above post I think I have enough info to fabricate the braces myself. I am going to check it out over the weekend.

Thanks again everyone,
Dan
