IAC, open half way?

IAC, open half way?
Well, i took my my throttle body, and took off the IAC housing too.
I noticed that the new IAC i have installed about a month ago looked like it was half extended. Is this normal? does the IAC always have a random position when you take it off the tb?

When your car shuts off its starting to idle down before 0rpms, its possible the IAC opened to attempt to save the car?
Could be anything, if your car idles fine, no worries
