Mass Air flow Voltage readings

I have a 1986 V6 and the code for Mass air flow is on. Also stalls at stops.
I need to know how to check the MAF to see if it needs to be replaced.
This is a V6 and there are three wires coming out of the MAF sensor. What voltage on what wire should I be looking for to determine if MAF sensor is good or bad.

Thanks

I do not have a V6 but when i my car was stalling at red lights and was getting code 34 ( MAF low) i replaced both relays and the problem went away.

I have directions how to check the V8's MAF sensor but not for V6.

Check the connections from ECM to MAF. Are they all OK?

Good luck.

Thanks I checked the plug about 4 times and it seems to be ok

There is a black wire that goes to ground and I checked it with key of it has 0 resistance.
There is a brown wire in the center and with the key turned off has 0 volts turn key on engine not running 4.8 volts turn key on engine running at idle and voltage drops to 2.7volts. (If you rev the engine there is no increase in voltage at all.
The last wire going to the plug has 12.8 volts with key on engine not running and 13.5-14 with engine running (orange)
