Cooling Problems

Ok i'm running a 383 with a TPI intake and still have the stock radiator, aftermarket electric fan, and stock thermostat. I have a TH-350 Transmission that only has 3 gears and i run down the higway between 3,000 and 3,500 rpm at 60-65 mph. Anyway i was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions on cooling. What are the effects of lower thermostats or radiator aditives such as Water Wetter??? Need help quick before summer gets here and i fry my new motor!!!

It all comes down to being able to remove the heat. A low temperature thermostat just starts getting rid of it sooner, it won't get rid of more. If you have an overheating problem you will need to get a bigger radiator. Try water wetter and see if that helps, if it does you're fine. You will probably need a dual fan setup as well, I don't think there is a single fan out there that will provide sufficient cooling.
