What size K&N filter for COLD AIR

I plan on building a K&N filter for my 1987 TPI set up. I plan out building a system to come out of my throttle body, bending to my MAF and then down . What size Kn should i put on the end..prolly 3-4" diameter...what is the part number

Maybe Kandied will share--his intake setup is NICE! Thanks for the reply to that PM, Kandied. I would like to know exactly how you routed the pipe and what, how much metal you cut and where you took it out from to make room for the pipe.

When I made my CAI I used a 3 in cone. I had a 3in 90 degree rubber plumbing hose connected to 3in exhaust tubing, connect to the stock 45 degree MAF with the cone at the end where the old airbox was. It was easy to do.
