? about injectors

I have two sets of 19# injectors. One set is the original set from 86.The other set is from a 91.The 91 injectors are a little longer than the 86.Someone told me that GM changed the design to improve the performance.Any thoughts?

Yes, they changed injector design in 88 for most applications
and in 89 for the rest, then again in 94.

The early style was prone to sticking and also leaking between
the two halves of the body.

Always go with the newer desing.

I emailed Rich @ http://www.cruzinperformance.com/ and asked him about it.He informed me that the 86 were the Bosch style injectors and the 91 were Mulitec and they are prone to failure.
