What LTR setups have gotten you into the 12s???

I was running easy 12.5's at 108mph with AS&M SS-LTRs and a TPIS Big Mouth intake base (AFR 190s, CC 218/224 cam, Vig 2800 stall, 3.73's, SLP 1-5/8" headers, etc).

What was the setup in Chevy High Performance again? I know they ran 12.2-12.3 with long tubes. Is porting the manifold base a must? I'm just afraid of trying and screwing it up. Thanks.

I finally got my heap into the 12's earlier this month. Check out the link in my sig for the details. Another tweak or two and I'll be hitting 12.6's too.
The Chevy High Performance 12 second car wasnt entirely truthful. According to other people on here, it was a rehash of a previous article. The article says the car has Corvette L98 heads, but it really has AFR 190 heads. Also it has Edelcrock headers, not long tubes. The heads alone are what helps the most. It is possible to get a LTR TPI setup in the 12's. It just takes some intelligent planning, and some money.
