Fuel Regulator Problem

I need to lower my fuel pressure some more, but the screw for the regulator is hitting the bottom of the plenum so I can't back it out anymore. What should I do?? Can I just take the screw out all the way and put a shorter one in, or will this screw something up?? Thanks

I believe putting in a shorter one will be fine.

can I leave the regulator bolted down? or does it need to come off?? Thanks

You can leave the regulator bolted in , but the plenum will have to be removed or at least taken loose to allow room to replace the screw.
