How can I get my Throttle body cleaned up and looking like new??Can I sit it in some solvent for a couple days, scrub with some kind of cleaner?? I got it off the engine now while we are taking it apart and I need to get it cleaned up. Also something I could do to the plenum and runners also. Everthing is coming off so I want to clean it all up and make it look new without spending lots of money. Thanks

 

if you remove all electrical devices from the throttle body, you should be ble to soak the throttle body in a cleaning solvent. make sure you lubricate the throttle spring upon reassembly.

As for the plenum and runners... I would just soak them in the same cleaning agent, and paint them with an aluminum paint.
