Why does my check engine light come on intermintenly with a code 36

My question is whats up with the check engine light coming on from time to time when I start the car?The code is a 36 WTF! Sometimes it stays off for weeks at a time. I changed my EGR valve when I installed the motor.

A weak battery will sometimes trigger a code 36 to be set erroneously. Might want to check the cranking voltage when it sets the code and when it doesnt and see if there isnt a trend to it.

Code 36 can be a problem at your MAF burnoff relay. It is on drivers side firewall in the engine compartment. Mine gave a code 36 intermittently due to a bad connection at the plug in to the relay. If it is not tight, it can momentarily lose contact and throw that code. We used a pull tie to hold mine together tight. Read my ordeal here on my code problems including 36. https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...threadid=94924
