I know you guys have been talking about this on other posts...I have been thinking about changing my cam...not sure what to get yet(don't know much about it) Stock 86 iroc-z 305tpi. What else would i have to do along with a cam swap to keep drivability good. It's my daily driver, so i don't want to go too crazy. Any help and imput would be great!:hail:

If i were you i would take care of your exhaust first. IMO this mod alone will unleash at least 20 hp. (headers, no cat or high flow, 3 inch over the axle and nice flowing muffler). The cats on your car is a power robber. It a pellet style cat and it is the worst you can get. Get rid of it if you already have't.

You are pretty much limited with the cam choice. In the summit catalog there is a cam that works only with 86 TPI 305. It comes with the chip as well. The catolog says it is good for 35hp over stock i think.
